Well actually no worry about bladders. I've an old lowe Alpine bag with no special place to store the bladder. My solution is simple I just put it on top of everything else in the bag. Ofcourse against the backpanel of the bag. Works fine as well. I guess you can store a bladder on that paradox frame on any place you'll fancy. IMHO the versatility of the system and ofcourse the basic weight makes it a true excellent design.

I have not tried carrying a bladder yet. But after buying the top zippered lid, I think it may be the ideal place for carrying a bladder. As mentioned elsewhere, I did modify the lid by adding side skirts to help keep it centered and a few other things as well, but there is plenty of room in it. I actually cut mine down to force most of the weight carrying capacity to be near the frame.

We added a bladder port to the Unaweep. Lots of requests. Also we added a 3900 as well. Options are on the site and current.

So the Unaweep has the tab inside to attach the accesory pocket that would hold the bladder? Also, can't tell for sure with the pics but does the unaweep have a haul strap? Finally, does the 4800 size no longer come in the red vx07? Sorry for all the questions.

Hi

Yes the unaweep has the inside tabs for accessory pockets.

Haul loop, is not available, however, we do not feel it is needed. You have several easy yo attach spots (the roll top closure, the harness attachment, or even the frame , depending on what is needed.

4800 is no longer in Red. Everyone seems to want 3900 size for red no zipper. So we , split up the styling in that manner.

Thanks

What is the weight of the standard package Unaweep 4800 with VX21? Also, can you post a picture of this "Mesh / Cordura Drawstring compression Pocket " that comes with it? Either on its own or on the pack would be helpful.

Standard VX21 4800 unaweep should be less 3 lbs 4 ounces including standard base talon. That was the weight of a camo one which is slightly heavier. The 3900 without a zip should be closer to 3 lbs 1.

Base talons are generally 5 ounces depending a bit on color

Thanks for the info! I'm happy to hear that you will be offering it standard with the base talon because that's what I actually want. On your website it still indicates that it comes standard with the mesh talon. So is the 399 now actually the price for the 4800 with the "base talon"?
