Multi lid for sale?

Does anyone have a multi-lid that they would want to part with for money? I called seekoutside and they said they were moving away from the top pocket/multi lid because the talon does the same job. I understand that it must be part of their master plan but the top pouch is invaluable in my mind. To get to the talon, you have to take off the pack and the talon is usually under tension. If it is under tension, then you cant get things out without re-doing everything. The multi lid was perfect for all the things you need to access. For the life of me, I can not understand why they took this out of the line-up versus improving it like they do with everything else. Thanks for any help out there with finding a multi-lid. Thanks.

I totally agree and am not going to order a Brooks or Broadwing, until SO decides to bring back the Multilid, as a regular production item.

I also must have the little interior hanging pocket for keys, wallet, etc. and the waistbelt pockets on any/every SO pack I buy. I have two packs now and am considering one or two more.

Quick response here . We are getting a lot of requests for the lid. Our reason to move away from the lid is we thought the lid was only a so-so product ,and a couple of the newer products like the brooks and peregrine and even Merlin have lid functionality built in. Due the amount of requests we have considered adding the lid back in to production however that would be unlikely to happen until later in the year .

Thank you, that is great news to hear about it possibly coming back. If you consider it a so-so product, it is a testament to how high of expectations you have for your gear. We recently did an alpine hunt in SE Alaska and my partners and I used our multi-lids frequently for grabbing binos, rubber gloves for devil's club, headlamps, etc while on the fly. While on the steep stuff, the person above would grab stuff quickly out of the lower standing person's multi-lid. Truly invaluable at moments like those when it is steep and dangerous terrain and taking off the pack is not an option. Thank you again for the reconsideration!
P.S.- My buddy and I each carried a deer down from the top (2.5miles with 3200' of elevation loss). He had a Kuiu and I had my SO Evolution. The SO was far superior in many ways which he pointed out.
