If you are shorter torso or like the frame to camber more you can use the lower attachment. If you like it high and tight you can wrap it. A good example is, Luke likes it on the lower with camber, while I like it wrapped and higher, many others prefer it on the standard. Wrapped, requires the frame to match up better with your body, or the belt can peel away when load lifters are tightened a lot. The lower attachment is less finicky, but if you have a lot of lumbar curve or bigger behind it can hit your rear.
