Does anyone have any pictures of what a base-base setup looks like? I didn't think it would work because of the overlapping of the pole that each base has. If the base-base option works fine, then the base-tarp-base would be an option for me. When hunting with just two guys total, gear and a stove, then the base-base would work. One of the bases would need a stove jack though. When hunting with three guys total, gear and a stove, then the base-tarp-base would work.

I am running a base tarp base now. Solo trips and good weather I bring just one base. Trips with just me and the boys in good weather, I will use a base tarp setup with the end open. Bad weather means the base base combo or base tarp base depending on the size of the group. I dont have a stove jack in either of the base tarps yet, but do in my tarp. Don't have any pics of the base base setup yet, but it does work. Rokslide used to have an excellent write up with pics of all the different options, but that portion of their site has been down for a few months.

I would be interested in the improved tarp that could be used with the three piece vestibule.

I have the base- two piece vestibule with a stove jack plus the nest and most of the time I'm very happy with this setup. I have often thought how great the base-tarp-vestibule would be for those trips where additional room is required.

I do have two other LBO bases , I think they were the prototypes ( without zippers). I have used them as a base /base configuration but in windy conditions I get to much ventilation and I like the option of the stove so I tend to use my base 2 piece vestibule combo.
I may just order the tarp with a stove jack and see how I can set it up.
