Liners...

I am ready to pull the trigger on a tipi/stove combo.
I think i am going with the Cimmeron.
My ? Is, do I need a liner? I do not think that is an option with the Cimm.
I plan to use this hunting mostly, and it might get into the single digits at times....?
I would go with the 4 man, but the weight is my biggest turn off. I do like the more room of the 4 man...

Does the Cimm need a liner...?

This really seems to depend on your climate and environment. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and will never travel without a liner.

Wojo, Im thinking the same thing, I looking at a redcliff and stove, besides helping with condensation, what else does a liner do for ya.

Really it's primary value is just with that, condensation. And if you live in a humid environment at all, this is huge. It prevents all the interior side walls from becoming damp, dripping on you, and getting you or your stuff wet. I will say that it might not be completely necessary if you pitch the shelter in a way that there is an air gap underneath. We typically do that with my buddy's cimarron. We don't run a liner in that, but with the air gap all the way around, we have adequate ventilation and the inside stays completely dry.

I am from Qc,Canada,the air gap is good and i use it in summer time but it will allow cold air to enter and youll freeze,no good for winter.
