Unaweep Fortress 6300 / Thank you Luke!

Drove to the Seek Outside Headquarters yesterday to pick up my new Unaweep 6300.

Thank you Luke for your patience while taking time to get it fit just right for me. I took a 46 pound cache load 5.5 miles into one of our back country base camps today and was really impressed with the functionality of the suspension. I had plenty of room in the 6300 Fortress and it was truly comfortable under load with good weight distribution. I really like how it compressed down empty to make a compact profile on my way out. The light weight and articulation in the waist belt was a nice change from my old ILBE system. Looking forward to trying it out on a 8 day trip I'm scheduled for later this week. It will be maxed out for that one with full stores of food and gear. I will be loading my Red Cliff and SXL for that one too.

Hope you plan on taking some more photos of the Redcliff. Liked your set-up video, just need to see some more of the inside space.

Hello Scott - The Red Cliff has exceeded all of my expectations. I have spent almost 35 nights in it so far and will be spending another 30+ nights in it through mid December. It has room to spare with even 4 people in it. Pictures never depict how much room a tent has but we have slept 3 abreast on one side of it, so you could get 6 without the stove. I'm typically alone, with my K-9, or with my wife and K-9. Plenty of comfortable room for all of us, gear, stove and fuel. I am leaving for another 8 days later this week and when I return I will post more pictures from the inside. I might be able to post another video that is being produced later in December for an online magazine. I'm not sure what permissions they will give me for that but my gear and camp(s) will be seen in a lot of it. Maybe a professional photographer will be able to better capture the space it has.
