Meat hauling with a precipice

I have a precipice that I will be using for hunting. My question is are you supposed to strap the meat between the frame and the bag or in the bag itself? I ask as I didn't see a straightforward way from getting the bag away from the frame. This of course could totally be user incompetence but thought I would ask just in case I was actually missing the obvious!

You can do both. I prefer in bag. Loosen the hold down straps at top and the bag tilts away
