Wrapping the bottom of the stays

Hi, I have a Revo and I was wondering how can I wrap the bottom of the stays (the most obviously exposed part) to protect them from wear and tear. As far as I am concerned the Revo meets all of my requirement, and thus I plan to keep it for the next 40+ years. I'd like to take good care of it, irrespective of the fact it IS very rugged and robust. I have some hokey tape (to take a hokey puck), or alternatively in a bicycle's inner tube... any advice would be welcome.

You are talking about the frame correct , just in the corners . Our current frames are anodized , but older ones were bare. Bare ones i expect you could use a tape of some sort. Both powder coating and anodizing do work you may see if someone could powder coat corners ( not the rest powder coating gets a little tricky on extensions and joint )

Would not know if the fame is anodized or not, it is a standard 2015 frame (from November) -- I'd rather wrap than power coat to have a minimal cushion when I put the pack down (I live on a top floor flat).

Kevin do you think that this is something that will be needed? Or do you suspect the frame would be just fine without any additional protection on the corners. Thanks

I doubt it will be needed . They will get dinged but be functionally fine . I know a lot of people have put a lot of miles on Unaweep packs where they are more exposed without issue and I know customers that in general have put some pretty hard use sliding down Rock etc without issue

Please note that my desire to wrap the frame is not out of actual concern for its integrity and durability, which does not worry me, it is first and foremost out of anal retentiveness.
