Just ordered my Evo to Revo upgrade kit with a Peregrine, and this has me super curious to see how bags attach to the Revo suspension.

I was wondering if the frame can be cut shorter. My thought was cutting it to 22"ish and using the 4" extensions for heavy loads. Also would this affect how the bag attaches and would one bag be preferred over the others for this application? Thinking this could replace my old day pack and multi day backpacking pack for hiking, backpacking, hunting, etc. Thanks

One question that keeps coming back to me, is how exactly are the pack attachments different from the old Evo style? Soon enough I will find out, however it seems to be the main point of many questions. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks essentially the same, 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top of the frame.

Are the attachments different on the frame side of it, or are they different on the location of the packbags themselves?

FWIW, I just did the conversion for mine, and I can't really tell a difference in the way my Evo bag attaches to the frame. I'm sure someone with a better eye or who has done a lot more backpacking than I could tell the difference, but I can't.

In general the new Revo Frame sheet seems way cleaner and simpler to me with it being one piece and all. I can also totally see where the new back pads and stays will make it much more comfortable.
