Ah, yes, now I get it.

Do the webbing tabs that go around the frame on either end of the cross staves have velcro holding them in place, or are they sewn? It looks like you can use or remove the staves.

As previously said, I have no issues with emailing or calling in for the upgrade price to avoid people taking advantage of the system.

Also, I agree with the video of performing the upgrade once things are all in place.

Kevin, will you please post here when the upgrade kit is available?

Thank you.

Hi Kevin, is there a howto video on how to attach the shoulder harness to the Evo2Revo? I am quite sure I did it right but I'd like to check what is the prescribed method, in case I did something really stupid. BTW, what I did was

1) pass the strap down and up through the metal three bar thing attached to the back padding
2) then pass the strap through the metal triglide on the shoulder harness itself
3) pass the strap through the slide lock buckle at the top of the frame

that seems to be reasonably secure though I was wondering whether there is a fourth step after the slide lock to finalise the attachment.

You got it. You can run it several ways but that is the basic way . If you want to lock it more you can go through both sides of the 3 bar on the rear of the harness , but that will make adjustment harder . The only step missing is connecting load lifter strap which I suspect you did

Thanks Kevin. One more thing that puzzles me but that I cannot test for practical reasons at the moment (I am stuck to running the frame at its lowest because I am flying with the pack a lot). With the Evo the top of the frame was an independent piece. To add extenders I had to loosen a couple of things, add the extenders and that was it. Where the packbag sat at the bottom of the frame was not affected. With the Revo encasement I get the feeling that if I add the frame extenders I will lift the packbag from the bottom of the frame. I am probably missing something but I am not sure what and how.
