Thanks for the photo. That looks great. Gives a person a little more perspective.

It is order able now , let me know if you have any questions

You can order it stand alone , or as part of pack builder as a Day Talon Pocket (no harness) .

question: would the day talon end up "baggy" if it weren't filled up? Trying to decide on the day talon vs. regular one for a Unaweep 4800 in camo, mostly to be used for boy scout backpacking trips (and occasional hunts...).

I don't think so, I just received my Divide last week with Day Talon and the Multilid arrived yesterday. I figured out how to assemble all the pieces and straps and I find this a VERY sweet pack for most hunting I can still do.....MOST impressed!!!

I have been toting packs in the mountains of BC since 1956 and in the Alberta Rockies and have owned/used most big name brands, my longtime favourites have been Bozeman-made Dana Design packs, then the later MRs.

But, I am 69, have serious skeletal-neuro issues and overall weight is now a major concern for me; this fine rig cuts 2/3 of the weight I have been humping with my full rig MR NICE system and that is a BIG deal to me.

When, I have some more $$$$$, I am going to buy a Paradox Exposure for general backpacking-alpine fishing, as I like these so much.

JMHO, but, based on a lot of experience.

I see the Day Talon straps are order-able now - great!... Any chance you guys can post a couple pics of the straps, front/back/attachment points?

I have some 1" webbing rigged up right now, could maybe work OK if the load is light... Debating buying the straps, or just keeping the webbing and adding a couple strap pads..

Loving the new Unaweep by the way, will do a review after I use it a bit. Carried great on it's inaugural outing, love the hipbelt, and the Multicam X33 is real nice stuff. Still experimenting with fine-tuning the fit, and the 'best' way to clip down the top cover...
