I was happy to be able to use the 8 man and the stove over the last 4 nights and 5 days elk hunting in on the peninsula here in WA. Glad I brought the liner because I have yet to seam seal the tent and wouldn't you know it down poured the first couple days like crazy. Unfortunately we could not locate any elk except for the last night, and no legal bulls were in sight of course. Did see some deer, a few coyotes and enjoyed a couple grouse for dinner.
As for seam sealing, is it recommended to just do the inside of the tent seams, outside, or both? I'm probably just going to buy Sil Net silicone seam seller to get the job done. Appreciate the input, thanks
