Anyone else have more than 1 Seekoutside pack?

Postby blgoode » Mon Aug 03, 2015 12:53 pm

I have the Evo eith 4800 and a Unaweep 3900.

And dang I obsess about having spares for when I find gear that work!

I don't need another Unaweep hanging not getting used but I keep thinking I need a second as a backup.

Who else has an issue having multiples of items that work for them? I know it isn't just me :)

I ordered several pairs of 5:10 shoes after I busted out some in the grenadiers a few years ago and none were available for a few months

Currently I have a back up pair of The North Face MT Ultra shoes.

I think I have a pack obsession! As I have 2 and I still have some anxiety needing a 3rd ha ha.

Between my wife and me, we have 3.

They all started out as Unaweeps, but two I converted to Evolution-style packs by sewing back panels that I run with a couple of sizes of Kuiu pack bags, but that all can be swapped back to Unaweep packs at anytime. It's really a great and versatile platform.

Okay -

Here is what I'm setting up.

Have 1 standard Evo for load hauling ready to roll in the stable.

Have 1 UL frame Unaweep with 3900 bag.

I now have in order another standard frame Evo Frame that I will swap out the UL Unaweep frame on.

So I'm basically going to be using a UL frame in a Evo set up with a 3900 bag for backpacking.

And a standard frame Unaweep for a workout day hike pack.
