It's hard to say from the photo, but it seems like that frame has a significantly less aggressive bend to it relative to the Evo frame. It just looks less contoured. If you popped one frame out of the pack and laid it directly against the other, you could check. I do this with other packs I have, where I pull the internal staves and bend them to match a pack I like the fit on. So based on that, by all means I'd say bend. The thing I really like about the Unaweep is that it 'drapes' across my back, rather than feeling like I have a lump strapped to me. Getting a nice contoured fit enhances this draping sensation and gets the load close to your body for a better carry.
One thing to consider is that the Evo has a relatively long/tall and largely mesh back panel, while the Divide has a narrow pad in the middle of your back. This narrow pad can lever the top of the pack out a little, especially if there is a firm lump inside the packbag at the same point pushing the back pad against your body. Packing smaller objects laid horizontally in the packbag will let the bag follow the contour of the frame effectively and not push against the narrow Divide back pad.
