A couple of thoughts:

- an ice ax loop
- a daisy chain down the back

Also, should be able to securely stow crampons in the shock cord loop.

That would make it a perfect peak bagging pack.

I think while the water bottle pockets are nice, I usually don't carry a narrow bottle
that would fit in there. I'd prefer it if one of the bottle pockets is just a regular pocket
like on the main pack. I understand this may add weight.....

Thanks for the feedback ... Yes an axe loop and crayon carry would make it great for peak bagging .... I've axe maybe ... I am not sure on crampon a real crampon pocket is something that might be better added to the loops just due to crampon abrasion

Saw on the store website that the day talon will be sold without a harness. Does the day talon use the Unaweep harness? Or something different? What's your estimate for total cost for talon and harness?

Pricing should be set next week. It can use the standard hatness but that is over kill. There will also be a light harness available . My guess is total cost with backpacker hatness will be 100 to 120., I just don't know the breakdown yet . I also would guess it holds a fair amount more gear than a standard Talon.

I like the looks of that new Day Talon. Looks like the best one, yet! Maybe it's tough to tell in the photos, but the side pocket proportions look a little odd. Really deep, but narrow. Can you get your fist in there to remove an item from the bottom?

I can check. On our last Proto we increased pocket width a bit. I'll shoot some photos today
