Gateway attachment?

I got 2 split tri glides with 2 buckles.

I'll keep playing with it. So far I dig it.

Can the gateway be attached as a hip belt pocket, or is it too big for that? I'd love a hip belt pocket that combined an open water bottle-type pouch (where I keep an always accessible Hoochi Mama call and my wind check bottle) and a zippered bag for phone/gps plus spare ammo and other things I might want at a moment's notice.
