Tri glide with a loop that is attached to the 3/4 buckle , slide the tri glide on the shoulder strap adjustment webbing. It should work on 3/4 and 1 inch

Essentially it should be on the webbing that goes from your shoulder strap adjustment to near your belt or bottom of pack depending on pack design

this makes me feel stupid, but honestly i cannot figure it out either. are we supposed to acquire the extra tri glide or use one of the ones on the pack? mine just has a single female and male buckle like a fanny for instance

Did you it get the extra attachments ? Watch the multi lid video and see if you have the same hardware to use as chesty . If you don't we can get some out to you,

I'll give that a look over and see if I have them. I'm thinking that I don't, but I'll double check when I get home too. Thanks

There should be two split bar tri-glides similar to a sternum strap attachment. These are normally in the gateway itself.

If we did not include those, I apologize for the oversight.

Thanks

Can you can a picture up showing attachment points? Do you have to clip it and unclip it to opposite shoulder strap webbing?

You clip it on the harness adjustment strap below the harness. You should have two sternum strap looking things that you put on that 1 inch webbing , then the gateway clips to that

Ahhhh
So it rides in the center of the 2 shoulder strap webbing just above the belt. Not off to one side.

Did you get two additional straps a long with it ? There should be two additional tr-glide with loops that are split bar. They slide over the 1" webbing that runs from the hipbelt to the harness (it is the same piece of webbing that the frame is attached to). Then the gateway just buckles in to each one. We used to have a video around showing it , but I can't find it at this moment.

It does attach the same way the Multi-lid does if used as a front pack, just differently
(it does not attach at the top).
