Hip belt size

What size should I choose on hipbelt ?
I measured my waist to 87cm (34") and my wife to 81cm (32"). I´m 178cm / 75kg in size, wife is 171cm and 55kg.
Could we share a medium size?

If it helps at all, I'm 6'1" about 205, wear a 34" pant and built husky. I initially went with a medium size hip belt after deciding back and forth from the charts, but felt that there wasn't quite enough purchase on my iliac's after putting it on. I ended up sending that back and went with the large and I'm glad I did. Much more support for me.

I'm a 34 waist and like the medium just fine. My wife is pretty petite and was at the very limit on the medium belt when packing an elk wearing my pack, so we got her a small when we set her up with her own pack. I think a medium belt would work for both of you.

How large a waste will the large hip belt realistically accommodate? I wear a size 44 pants.

We have a chart on our site , I don't remember of hand . The chart is under backpack design details in the store. We can do a larger belt which is what I would recommend . We have an XL it just isn't listed as a purchase option

There are three different sizing charts listed in different places on Seek Outside's website.

The "Measurements" page lists 27.5-33.5, 30.5-38.5, and 33.5-41.5.
The "Fitting" page lists 28-33, 32-37, and 36-41.
The "Pack System Builder" page lists the same as the Measurements page, but then where you actually choose the size option it lists 29-32, 32-36, and 36-40.

Which one is correct? Why not remove or change the incorrect info?

Thanks for pointing that out. The first chart is max , and then we under estimate on the others to give more of a functional real world recommendation . Make sense ? The first one is correct though

Gotcha. It just gives the impression that maybe the sizing has changed, but the website was never updated.
