New Day Talon for Unaweep

I have a Unaweep on order and hoping it will ship soon.

I'd ordered a regular Hydro Talon with the pack but saw something about a new Day Talon that you plan to introduce soon.

When do you expect to have details on the redesigned Day Talon? I'd like to get it with my pack if possible; if not, I've requested
that you ship any available Talon with the pack and I'll swap it out with either the new Day Talon (if I like it) or just the regular Hydro Talon.

Please share any details on the Day Talon that you can.

It only exists on the drawing board at this point , although some of its concepts exist on other packs around. Once we get it going it should be quick to production but it may still be a couple weeks .

Details are : shaped a bit more like first day Talon , top opening is sort of like a Tri Zio without the center portion so it is a top opening that opens very fast
Two side pockets exterior , 2 interior slot pockets ,hydro pouch , harness is removable and will be a webbing style with the capability to use a more full featured one . This is done as we can see it being used as a regular Talon a lot

Those are the basic details . Essentially 6 chambers maybe more , top opening , roughly 1200 CI , a couple places for attaching stuff exterior , detachable harness

A couple of of things I'd like to see:
- may be fewer "chambers"? I'd rather see one larger "chamber" to store bulky items like a rain poncho and/or light fleece
- a side zipper like on the regular Talon for easy access to above "chamber" while in "Talon mode" attached to the Unaweep
- a daisy chain on the front of the harness to attach and easily access a GPS, camera or small water bottle holder (ala Zimmerbuilt) while on the move
using the Talon as a daypack

It can be used as a stand alone day pack, the chambers are lightweight and non intrusive . The zipper access will be very good, just different and very easy to get into. We have a larger pack around with some of the same concepts.

Basically the chambers are essentially slot pockets , and allow you in our opinion to transition from day hike org to backpacking very easily, just throw it on the pack

I don't see mention of a hydration sleeve - does it have one? Hydration a MUST HAVE for me.

Would love to get my hands on one to help you "test it" with my new Paradox pack!

Have not done the measurements . Slightly larger than original day Talon with 2 exterior bottle pockets. my best guess is 1000 to 1200 but that you can attach hold more outside . One of the main volume killers to my original day Talon was the water bottle inside , so my guess is it feels a fair amount larger
