New Pack Sizes

Postby blgoode » Mon May 04, 2015 5:21 pm

You have any new pack sizes on the radar? The 4800 compresses so well I don't know how much Id use say a 3000ci size pack for lighter less bulky summer loads. Just curious because it seems a smaller than 3900 size would be a better size variant than the 3900 but maybe I'm just keyboard typing and need to be hiking more!!

Who all has the 3000ci size Divide? Love to hear feedback on what your main use is for that size.

You know the Divide hasn't shipped yet, right? I'm sure some of us will post right away when we get them.

We have in process a few new packs. I hope to have details / photos on these late May early June.

- A new day talon type of pack. Heavy on organization , and clean lines. Closer to the first day talon than the second, also harness is detached so it can be just a talon as well. Top opening vs side opening

- A larger Unaweep hunting pack , closer to 6K volume . It is designed for meat in the bag type of approach, Bag opens very wide and allows a lot of access inside.
- A smaller version closer to 3k of the above , designed mostly for the day hunter , with potential bivy . Both will have exterior pockets for spotter / tripod , optional interior frame support (not a frame sheet) , interior load shelf to keep load high , can use lid / talons etc . Probably only available in the camo colors, maybe Coyote
The hunting packs probably will go closer to 3.5 lbs - 4 lbs fully configured.
