It is a prototype, and there are a few minor differences we know we will add in, but are more styling and refinement than anything.

- Bottle wings we will have to check, but i suspect it is a yes.
- No built in Hydro port, but you can roll it out top. If there is enough demand we can add one, however last year we added them as an option and very few people purchased them (perhaps we could make it an option , maybe not)
-It can be configured to use a Talon and floating compression panel if desired.
- It has a few sewn in attachment points for adding another compression strap, or adding across the back compression. These attachment points also allow for various configurations of cordage to be used along with the center daisy chain.
- It will fit a standard bear can about 2/3 down the packbag, or it can be strapped on the back at the rear bottom very easily.
- Pack bag is more narrow at bottom to help facilitate the lower bear can access point.
- No spreader functionality built in.
- Torso range is expanded to help fit smaller torso people better.
- Added a haul loop .
- Can use the Multi-lid. Weight of proto was 2 lbs 10 with two extra compression straps. I suspect it will come in 2 lbs 10 - 11 in X21RC and 2 lb 13 - 14 in a heavier duty Cordura faced fabric.
- Have not done capacity measurements but I would suspect 4000 CI main bag , 1500 ish in Mesh pockets

Looks great. Will pricing be lower or higher than the Unaweep? And sorry if you've already answered this, but is there a timetable for getting these available? Think they'll be available in time for the summer?

Probably order able in a few days pricing probably a bit less than Unaweep with Talon , probably some intro pricing for a few days at first as well

Will the bag alone be sold so it can be swapped onto the frame of an older unaweep?

Packbag Will be sold alone as well. Frame is more subtle . It is thicker wall smaller OD but solid for heavy loads as well. I did 7 plus miles at 90 plus last fall. This subtle change allows a bit easier user tweaking

I'm assuming the smaller diameter frame will have it's own specific extensions? In terms of materials, I see X33 and D40 listed in the mix, are these reinforced areas (pack bottom) for the X21RC and 500D Cordura respectively? I.E. combo X21RC and X33 combo for one option and D40 and 500D Cordura for the other or is it being considered as 4 completely separate options? Is it correct to also assume the color options for each fabric will stay the same as currently available?

I like the option of additional compression strap attachments and talon compatibility. It appears that there are webbing strap adjusters on the front side of the pack, where the outer compression pocket is. Are these intended to be the top and bottom attachment points for a talon or will the talon take the place of those attachment points as currently used on the standard packbags. Not to sound like I'm emphasizing the importance of a talon; I love the simplicity of the pack as shown in that close up. Just curious of those webbing attachments on the outside.

I also see a daisy chain added to the outer mesh pocket. I like this addition but does it have structure on the mesh--is there backing to it running up to the attachment strap over the top of the bag? One thing that I can't see are Ice Axe loops. Will there be at least one?
