Thought I would come in and give a bit of an update so you guys know I didn't die haha. I purchased and recieved a PSE Drive today. I put in for elk and deer this year so hopefully I get the 4 man out for some hunting action. As of late I have been crammed with school :cry:

but a lot of the courses I am in deal with wildlife management and population dynamics so it isn't all that bad! I started working part time as well to train for my internship over the summer. I am hoping to possibly get out this weekend but I highly doubt I will be able to pull it off. Come Mid may I will be out every weekend I can!

I'm right there with you Taco.

I'm able to check in on the forum about once a week if I'm lucky just to see what is going on. Fortunately, my dream came true and I was hired on by one of our local city Fire Departments and have been going through their Academy. There is still 7 weeks left and it is only ramping up in intensity and stress! Very demanding, strict academics and very physical, but very fun hands on training. I'm loving it! Once the dust settles, I can't wait to get back outside.

Right now I can only live vicariously through you all with your pictures and posts. I didn't get drawn for multiseason deer or elk this year in WA, but that is probably an appropriate thing considering most of my year will be dedicated to finishing strong as a probationary.

We just got our 4-man in. Went back and forth in my mind between the Cimmaron and the 4-man. compromises between size, weight, headroom, wind resistance. When I saw there was a 4-man in stock I pulled the trigger on it. First impressions are awesome. I see a Ti stove in our future....grin.
