Ongoing 12 Man Review

Take a look at the pic above. I'm sitting on a military style cot, another cot to the right, you can see the end of a 5-foot folding table on the left.

It's a good size tent at about 18-ft across, and almost 10-ft tall. For reference, I'm 6'3" and about 225 lbs.

A couple more pics with the stove set up. It was no trouble to open the jack to take the 5" pipe. Gearing up to get a hot stove in here this evening. Too warm (55F) to light it off this afternoon.

Wind is blowing 15-25 mph today, it's like nothing on the tent. Some of my stakes could be a little deeper to get right on the ground, but the ground is frozen pretty hard a few inches down.

It's a really nice piece of kit.

Mine hit the door about three weeks after I placed my order.

Ordered mine on feb 19th. So maybe sometime next week they will call and say its time to come pick it up

I have one on order and I was told it would be in the next week or so.

Did a test burn this evening after it cooled of a bit. I just stoked the stove lightly but it was roasty toasty.

Which model Cylinder stove is that? I've got a Scout which is the smallest model that I used in the 8-man. It would roast you out when roaring. I'm curious to see what it will do in the 12-man.

The cylinder stove we got from Davis Tent with our wall tent.

Davis calls it the 'Valley' model. Firebox is 24" long, 14" wide, 11" tall.

Just in case anyone is looking for this stuff in the future, yours is the same size as Cylinders Stoves' Hunter model. My Scout is the smaller one. Here are the specs:
