Troutbum how important is it to get a Lab with certified hip?

I don't know for sure Nathan, I've had two labs, and both came with certified hips, eyes, etc., I didn't have any problems with the first one (she lived to be 13), and so far no problems with the current one, but she's only 5. I don't know what I would do would do if at some point in time I did have problems with her though. It's not like I would just give her back and get my money back. I never really inquired as to how all that would work if there were issues. They would probably just refund my money but I would still have a pet that myself and my family would be attached to that would require surgeries etc.

I have a soon to be 9 month old Catahoula. He is a bit of a genetic anomaly when it comes to the breed. He isn't hype and he was the only one of the litter to come out with long hair. The breeder even said he has only seen 2 in his life with shaggy hair like him. I still love him and he makes one heck of a companion out in the mountains.

My favorite dog ever was a Catahoula. Extremely independent and headstrong but fiercely loyal. Taz was a dog you could respect.

I'd love another one but I fear he couldn't stay away from the neighbors cattle.

I recognized a couple of places in your photos, and then noticed your license plate. I'm in Laramie, too, if you're ever interested in getting together to talk backpacking, hunting, camping, whatever. Probably not too many Seek Outside/Paradox people in town.

My 2 years brown Lab mix with a Bernese Mountain dog...i found him from a dog refuge,its a smart dog,learning fast,a bit nervous but he is awesome and he comes with me every places a dog can go

Awesome dog man! What kind of harness is that? I have a pack for Ash but its cheaply made and not all that functional.
