I love the color! It blends in very well with the Wyoming landscape and is very easy on the eyes. I am going to start on writing a bit of my initial thoughts on the tent and compiling everything. Hopefully I can get some time in between the dog and school to get it done.

It was a beautiful day on Friday. In town it was about 55 degrees during the day and probably around 45 degrees when we got to the mountains. Overnight it dropped below freezing (around 25 if I had to guess). It wasn't a brutal experience. I did well with a cheapo 20 degree bag. I would like to do some colder trips but I want to get used to everything a bit better. I have been struggling getting the tent up in good time or keeping things organized :P.

haha nice...for me,i have enought ''colder trips'' this year in Quebec,Canada...GOD!!...-40C with the wind i can't even feed my stove,12 inches long stove to small for this kind of temp...i will need to work on that,i will made a 15-18'' long this summer...its when you go outside and test your stuff and face some hard times than you understand what is good and what you have to work on your next trip.Your pictures are great man, hope to see more and more :D

YA that would suck! Haha. I am eager to try it but I need some better gear too. My luck, the one time the tent did fail was when it was in the negatives. We have horrible wind in the winter so i just keep testing the waters with what it can withstand. We have had a pretty poor winter as well. Its seldom above freezin through January and Feb. Yet I have been walking around in shorts and a tshirt most days. We have got hit with a decent storm the past few days so I would be interested to see how the mountains are looking this weekend. If I get some free time I would like to go out for another night.

Well got the rough planning of my tripped planned. Going to be driving a good chunk of it on a road I am not sure exist haha. If not it will add a few miles to the hike. Going to pack into a rather common fishing area off the platte that offers 20 miles of shore line to fish. Most just fish a small quarter mile area. Ill be going in a few miles looking for a reasonable area to set camp and then explore from there. Realllly hoping it isn't froze over since the winter has been rather crappy. If it is Ill just search for the whitewater areas, those should be clear in most spots.
