I am hoping for some clear skys and no wind. Recently there have been wind gusts upwards of 60mph where I want to go so we will see.

nice, we should have a photo contest. Some people have submitted some great ones so far without a contest. You guys that carry real photo equipment are way more dedicated than me. Maybe a facebook contest / giveaway ?

What is your dog? Look like more than just an Australian cattle dog. Something mixed in with him?

Ash's parents were catahoulas. Given his coat he is either a genetic odd ball or one of the parents were a mutt with something like a golder retriever or Aussie but neither showed it.

I just cannot wait to get out tonight. I have a few more hours of class and then I go home to pack, take the dog to the vet for a free dental exam and then hit the road. Hoping to have camp set an hour or so before dark. Its going to be right around 30 tonight so I'll be using the stove too.

Def. looks like there is more than just Calhoun in there. He's an amazing looking dogger. If you ever find out exactly what his mix was I'd be interested to know. Enjoy the outing.

Well, I forgot my remote so I couldn't do a whole lot with night shots but overall it was a great night to be out! I fixed the issue I had with the stove and the tent held up to some pretty strong wind gusts. The stove was a delight to have. My friend kept popping in the tent to warm up haha. Ill post more on my thoughts later, I just wanted to get a few pictures up before I go back to reality. I also have some of the interior and maybe a few others of the exterior.
