Does anyone have experience offsetting the pole at an angle to make more room for the stove? Seams stable, but I am wondering how it would handle weather.

I've settled on getting the BCS but a couple questions...If I'm reading this correctly the BCS Grande is the BCS2 with an additional base? If this is true I could get the Grande and assembly as the standard BCS when the space isn't necessary?

You would need to purchase the vestibule as well to use it both ways

thanks for the quick reply. It'll be a rare moment that I'd ever need the Grande so I'll stick to the BCS2

is there a reason a person couldn't order a bcs base, vestibule and have a complete bcs2 for less that a complete bcs? If someone were to do that, could they get the base without the stove jack installed since the vestibule has one already?

Well I had my first rain storm experience this past weekend. Rained all night long with 20mph winds and 40mph gust. The bcs2 help up great. The material was literally soaked in the morning, but I was dry on the inside, including the ground. I thought for sure the silynylon was going to touch the pipe with those gust, but it did not. The shelter was however a little droopy in the morning like it had streched with the weight of the water. If i was staying another night I might have re pitched the shelter.
