So I picked up a BCS2 from another member and decided I wanted the Grande option. Turns out the BCS2 was one of the first off the line and there have been slight mods since. One of couse being color and some differences in lengths (older is taller) despite the changes, it pitches well and I am looking forward to getting it in the field at the end of this month. I'll post some more pics then with it loaded up and in use.

what size stove is everyone running in BCS2?

lchavez - would love to see some good inside shots of sleeping, stove, and door configurations. I like the idea in the Sawtooth by Kifaru to sleep parallel to the walls so each person gets some heat. In the BCS2 seems like sleeping parallel on the back wall is it. Wonder if the BCS2 would sleep like the Sawtooth. but the stove might be in the way.

I was thinking of getting the SO large.

I sleep long wise nest to steep walls in a BCS. The only reason to sleep front to back in my opinion is with a nest.

The large stove is a good size for the tent

Kevin can the nest fit on steep wall sides, be used on either wall? Trying to find that option so both sides can have a nest in buggy areas, basically the nest would be for one person only.

I think the standard nest is across the back only. The BT2 nest might, but I am not sure. I will need to test those configurations.

From having it up in both options, here is how I think it can lay out. Dotted line represents using a nest for cozy doubles.
