Bivy

In the market for a new bivy and I'm very interested in what SO can bring to the table in this regard.

I remember Kevin stating somewhere that he is working on one. Does anyone know when this will be in production? Are we talking weeks or months?

Outstanding. I'm heading out on my last (hopefully) tasking. Looking forward to checking it out when I get back!

I'm curious to see what comes of this as well. I'll be looking for a bivy come spring time.

Let me ask a couple questions. WHat type of Bivy do you prefer ?
- WPB bivy capable of sleeping out basically any time, any where.
- Bug Bivy with mesh top , mostly for bugs / summer season
- water resistant breathable for all around use

Thanks

I'm also very interested in seeing these. I currently have a Ti Goat Kestrel, silnylon that weighs 6 oz. in effort to always shave ounces and for my particular usage, under a shelter, I think something with a cuben fiber bathtub bottom, and very breathable upper with a bug net hood would be just the ticket. Anything like that in the works Kevin?
