see a pack

Postby Tim in Wa. » Sun Nov 16, 2014 7:38 am

Hello
I'm considering getting a Paradox Evo. pack but I'd like to have a look at one before I take the plunge.
If there is any one in Western Wa. (Specifically Kitsap Co. or Seattle )area that has one and would be willing to meet up and show it to me it would be great'
Thanks
Tim

I know we have several in Wa. Hopefully someone will respond. I know its tough to buy something without see/touch/feel experience first.

Nathan or Kevin
Do you have a demo pack that I could have a look at?

I'm right there with you, Tim. I also live in WA (Seattle area) and would love to see one beforehand.

Can you pay shipping and a deposit ? If so, we can put something together to see

I'll give it a bit more time. Hunting season is just wrapping up and Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Hopefully someone with a pack will reply
Thanks

Hi Tim,

I ended up taking a chance and going with the Evo without seeing one, and while I haven't had it out on the trail yet, I can say I'm super happy with the quality, build, and overall functionality of the pack. Very simple and straight forward, yet modular and that is what I like. The mix of this with utilizing the talon and compression system is really quite sleek. Had to exchange the hip belt, but after fixing that and shouldering the pack with a few different configurations and weights, I can finally understand the comfort everyone speaks of. Sits on the hips very well and I personally like how it hugs closely to my back. Feels very secure and well supported. Can't wait to really put some miles on it and see how the different weights carry over time. Overall I'm extremely excited about this pack. Plus Kevin was super helpful and accommodating to my annoyances in getting the pack figured out and dialed in.

All that being said, if you would like to arrange a meet, I'm in the Seattle area for now. PM me if you're still interested in seeing one.

GO PACKERS !!!

Maybe a forum rivalry. I admit the packers chances are probably pretty low in Seattle
