Hey everyone, new guy interested in these packs.

My current state of things has me backpacking either with friends where my weight is typically in the 20-25 lb range and also just starting hiking/camping with my daughter where I have to be "sherpa" dad and carry everything. Last trip my pack weight was 65 lbs. Ugh.

I've made due with an old external frame and my own nylon pack bags. I modded the external with a HPG harness and GG waist belt. The GG belt leaves a bit to be desired as it attaches at the small of the back and can distort and ride down.

Anyway, these packs look like they could really fit the bill for me, so I'll be hanging around to see what cool stuff comes.

Welcome! If we can help in any way just let us know. It sounds like a Paradox may fit well with your needs. I like to UL pack, but get to carry two people's gear when the wife is along.

From the sound of it, a paradox may in fact be the pack I've been searching for. Atleast that's what I'm hoping.

Can my own sil bags be used with the Evo frame setup? What kind of price point will the Evo frame be or can you divulge that yet? If not, that's fine. I know you guys are really trying to get stuff going and I wish you the best.

You could very easily sew up your own bags.

Pricing should be soon. There will be sil bags and they won't be priced to bad. A giant stuff sack would even work if you didn't want anything fancy
