I'm really new on here but thought I'd share a couple pics of some recent "testing" of my paradox evolution/6300 bag/day talon. My buddy and I on the first morning of a 4 day bivy elk hunt in Montana killed 2 bulls within about 10 minutes almost 7 miles from the truck. Needless to say we had our work cut out for us and I got to see what the paradox was made of. The first load out was just about all meat (boned front shoulder, backstraps, tenderloins, and neck meat from my bull) plus some other essentials. We left our camp gear up there on the first trip. We were able to recruit some help the next day so we only had to make one more trip. The second trip was a boned out hind quarter, bivy camp gear and food, and antlers (plus other essential day gear). It was an awesome outcome to a very short hunt and I'm happy to say that I'm really pleased with how the pack carried those 80+pound loads for that distance. There was very minimal slippage of the hip belt (may have had the torso length adjusted slightly too long) and I had no hot spots on my hips, shoulders or back. I didn't feel beat up as I've felt with other packs, just very tired. I'm really happy with the talon's ability to compress the load against the frame without compromising usable space in the pockets. The frame extensions made a huge difference and are easy to install. Also the weight seemed to be more widely distributed on my hips rather than resting on my lumbar which was much more comfortable.
