Paradox Pack Modifications

You can open my Flickr account listed below and view the photos I took while attaching Osprey shoulder straps replacing the Paradox ones. Also installed the bladder bag to the frame and fixed the problem of the hip belt turing upside down when trying to strap on the pack. There are comments under each photo that explain what I did and how I did it on each photo on my Flickr page.

I replaced the shoulder straps with the more substantial and better contoured straps of the Osprey. I used the upgrade Osprey BioForm straps.
I attached the bag that holds a bladder and made it to fit my Osprey 3 liter bladder with Ospreys awesome system that includes a contoured back panel. I installed the bag to hold the bladder between the pack frame and the pack bag.

I fixed the problem of the hip belt wanting to turn upside down while strapping on the pack.

All mods came off well. I am quite happy with them.

I saw them. It looks like a good project.
The paradox is easy to customize.
As far as harness , our original harness had more of that contour, but it was not received as well. Our current harness has to our knowledge very few complaints outside of large chested folks in which case we have modified the length a bit.

We are always open to improvements and tailoring to individuals needs or fits

I can see that, if you were using the pack as it was designed for very heavy loads the highly contoured harness would not be as good, but for me keeping my pack weight well under 40 pounds it is more comfortable. You are right, the pack is very easy to modify, and I make all my mods in such a way that they are basically bolt/strap on so that the original design is easy to get back to.
