Need at least one bag around 3000 with lots of pockets I.e. organization to compeat . Yes I know it will add some weight but might bring in more sales?

Geeze, crickets.....

Thanks EDH, I'm going to see if I can make this a poll to get some opinions.

Give us some opinions on layouts too....

For instance, we are planning to roll out a double drawstring top loader with a snow collar, but also to introduce the same size bag as a roll top. The roll top should be lighter, stronger, more waterproof, and hopefully cheaper to make (and buy). Thoughts?

How many people want to see a smaller packbag like EDH? What should that look like?

For most of my use, I like a 5000 cu. in. pack with the ability to add on an external pocket on the sides or the back like the Talons you guys are producing. Helps if the top lid has storage. I like water bottle pockets too, not always for water bottles but for hiking pole storage, possible gun storage, fuel bottle, etc. In the winter I like a bigger pack in the 6000 cu in + range. I absolutely hate having my gear hanging on the outside of my pack. It annoys me when people buy a 30 liter pack then look like a walking garage sale with crap hanging and flopping all over the outside of the pack. These are lightweight packs to begin with, I would rather have extra space than not enough.

Ability to addon pockets if wanted. In addition to the Talons. This could be used for organization or just extra capacity on smaller packbags.

One thing I like to do is make bags for things like spreader bars for my bridge hammock an one for my folding saw. Then I just put that bag into the water bottle pocket and under the compression straps on the sides of the pack. Keeps things organized without punching a bunch of needle holes in the pack bag. However, after reading cowboy barbers post above, it may be that i will make a couple of identical bags with a pocket or two in them that will attach to the pack in the same way. Hum,,,,......
