Rutacolura does carbon walking poles that can be combined with an Tenkara rod. Very intyeresting for hikers who also like to fish:

Oh, I gotcha. No, I've never tried one of those. I decided a couple years ago to start using the bamboo rods that I've been collecting and now that's all I ever use. I just really enjoy the feel of casting a nice bamboo flyrod.
