The photos above were a 3l bladder for reference. The lid attaches to Unaweep the same as it does evo via webbing and ladder lock.
Bladder between bag and frame what I'm not a fan of ? The good is that it works , is convenient and has a good COG.
For me, the bad is that it puts the water bladder practically on your back, if the bag is real tight the bladder can almost go through the separation in top of frame encasement and bottom. Not a comfort issue since it is water, however if I'm hot and sweating it seems to make water get warm a lot faster and I like cold mountain stream water.
The base talon or talon based hydration is simple and easy, and IMO the bladder is very well protected. The only downside is COG, but I think it's important to note that COG on the paradox suspension is really good to begin with, and often Talons have the heavier items in them anyway (food , knife, electronics etc).
Bladder in the lid, seems to work if that is how you want to run it. It seems a bit "tippy" with it being the only item in there. Just my basic observation. With a few items it is probably not tippy at all.
Ernda message received and taken care of.
I apologize for many little changes. We do try to move quickly to provide the best solution to the widest group of users and to meet their needs. I feel pretty good with where our product is now and the solutions we provide. I doubt there will be many changes going forward for awhile, just little add on products potentially. The base talon hydration was one that made a lot of sense. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
