I was wondering if anyone knows.... after rolling stove pipe up and the next use the exterior of the pipe has interior residue all over it. Is it because of burning Pine? How can I clean it? I can care less about the the looks in side of the pipe just the exterior looks tacky.
Thanks!

Hmm . maybe post a photo. Generally, the interior gets some residue , and the exterior gets a coloring due to the heat but not really any residue.

It's ok to clean the interior residue.
