Wood Stove Cooking

Postby The Warrior » Sun Jan 03, 2016 2:29 pm

Have never had a hot tent, but plan on remedying that very soon. I've never cooked inside a tent/tipi before either. Perhaps a dumb question, but is it a good idea to cook inside the tent? Not just the smell lingering on the fabric, but also it seems like it could get a little on the greasy side too?

I am always cooking inside, sometimes if i have a lot of meat ill do it outside on an open fire but most of the time in my tipi, let the zippers open with a stick on top of both sides or just let a door open.

Never had any issues cooking in the tipi. Try and vent as much as weather allows.
