What types of wood have you guys tried in your stove? One of the places I hunt has a ton of oak and madrone. Just wondering if it would be too hot in my xl titanium.
Also what are the best burn times you guys have had?

Oak will be great , wish I could use it regularly. Best burn times I have heard are using compressed wood like Eco Logs. I heard someone say they had coals 9 hrs later and only reloaded once in a night

I will calculate this with my new stove to give a solid answer.
