LBO with nest and stove?

LBO with nest and stove?

Postby Grimescreek » Wed Nov 29, 2017 5:47 pm

Can I run the LBO with 3-piece vestibule with the nest and stove at the same time? I'm worried that the stove might get the nest mesh too hot. Has anyone tried this in the past?

Can be done yes ... real tight yes , would we recommend it ? No . If it's cold enough for a stove then skip the nest and just use a ground sheet if desired

Thanks for the reply. I will be camping in real wet weather with high humidity so I was thinking of using the nest as condisation protection, and then figured I could use the stove every second or third day to help dry out my gear.

It would work that way. I wouldn't zip the nest in that situation .. I'd tuck the front out of the way .. and make sure there is plenty of spacing between the nest , the stove and the exit
