permanent marker

Has anyone taken a sharpie and marked the set back on the seams and corners to make set up easier? Just wondering if there might be a problem with the marker chemicals and the tipi material? i have the 12 man and would like to mark with a small inconspicuous line on the material to mark the set backs.

I am not sure but I doubt it . We can do a little test. I always just double back on the guy out and set a stake

A little bead of Goop/Aqua seal might also work. Maybe I'm just overthinking it but it definitely wouldn't hurt the fabric any.
