Is it possible to use the base-tarp-vestibule together? That looks like the best buying option for me because I could use the base-tarp-vestibule when a lot of room is needed but then just use the base-vestibule when I don't need a lot of room.

I did set mine up a number of times this way and it does work. Where the tarp and 3P come together, it would not completely seal out the rain very well as there is no "hood" over the pole like there is on the base.

It requires a slightly different tarp. I'd like to do it. The best way to get it done is send requests to our info at seekoutside account

U r correct that is a 2 piece. 3 piece looks the same but more rounded. Like I said , it works , but we could do better. Not trying to blow our own horn about shooting strait, but we could do better. We just have not had a lot of requests for it, but I can see why it is compelling

So if we would like one we can send an email to seekoutside info?

Sign me up. I would like the tarp to have its own tie outs so if you wanted you could run just the tarp for ultra light bivy mode. Say in a deer bed or somewhere small like that. Maybe put a kind of beak on the tarp to cover the hole in the 3pc vestibule. This would be the ultimate "one and done" shelter.
