We have a new tent the Redcliff coming out . It is styled similar to the cimarron but taller and longer
First what options would you like to see ?
Liner ?
Half nest
Full nest ?
Thanks

A few more stake out points than the cimarron. I found in wet conditions the sides sag in quite a bit. The liner would be a good option as well.

First post here. Any idea-ish when this will be coming out? I will be pulling the trigger on the Cimarron very soon, but this intrigued me.

Not really sure .. Mostly it depends on how busy we are. I expect it will be orderable in Jan sonetime but perhaps not shipped til late February. Cimarrons are in and out pretty fast , they are constantly in production

Thanks for the quick response. Wow, that soon. What's the slim chance of getting a photo of the proto Redcliff, haha? I know I'm asking for a lot. The Cimarrons seem to be a very popular tent. I still can't decide if I want the green or brown.

Half nest with silnylon back wall and side walls to double as a quasi liner.

I'm sold on Liners after using them in my 8 man. The half liner proved its weight in gold after a constant 2 day downpour in Western Washington.

Can you talk briefly about the advantages / disadvantages compared to the 6 man tipi?

The Redcliff is lighter and probably sleeps just as many comfortably . The 6 man is taller in the center , probably sheds wind from any direction better . The Redcliff sheds snow very well on the sides , and should do well in wind , just might do better with certain orientations. Setup , I can't really comment , I think they both set up pretty easy. Some of it probably depends how we choose to outfit the Redcliff .. Liner , nests etc
