Hello- new member here- Just got my 12 man w xxl stove yesterday and had to set it up of course. Really impressed and excited to put this thing to use. Wondering if anyone has tips/tricks for getting a good uniform pitch? I did good for my 1st pitch but there were some spots that were tighter then others. I went around and adjusted all the stakes trying to get it tight/uniform but even after that it seemed like it could have been better. I live in Dillingham AK this is going to be my new moose hunting/ family camping setup and I cannot wait to try it out. Just need some good sunny weather to get the seam sealing done.

Thanks-

Jeff

Assuming you are using the setback for the initial 4 stakes. Put remaining stakes in even amount of tightness directly across from each other working in a pattern like how you would draw a star. Use a flat rock if you can find one that is about 3/4" thickness. When you have all the stakes in place that rock under your center pole to give it final tension and keep your pole from sinking.
