Double zipper option

Kevin - I'm wondering if there is an option for a double zipper in a tipi? I was finally able to get out this past weekend to use my 8 person tipi and while out I realized how much a double zipper, at least on one side, would be beneficial; at least for me. Being in my early 60s and having an artificial knee, it's not as easy to get down as it once was. My thought was with a double zipper I would have the ability to open the one side more easily if I had the option of bringing the zipper pulls up off ground level to a height that is easier to reach. While it wouldn't eliminate all problems for those of us who aren't as mobile as we once were, I do think it would be helpful so any thoughts or consideration you can give to this would be appreciated. Thanks!
That's all for now. Take care and until next time...be well.

My 8 man has double zippers. Did you check all the way near the top of the tipi?

There should be double zippers on all of them. They are usually at the top for venting.
What most people do for that is either
- Tie some cordage on the lower pull, often through an arrow shaft , but honestly you could use a large number of things.
- Guy out the zipper using the guy out point there. Properly done it will flatten it a bit and make access easier

Well consider there to be egg on my face! Seriously, once I placed the pole into the tipi my feeble reach was never going to be able to discover it up there. I'll check it out tonight since I have it hanging in my upper pole barn to dry out from the weekend. Thanks for letting me know.
Until next time...be well.
