Im really struggling with this decision. I was even considering the Sawtooth cause I can get a liner for it like the 6 man. Here is what I would use it for.........80% of time early archery in NW Colorado. (late august early sept). 2 to three guys max. Only run with stove when I took it rifle hunting when I had to....every couple years. Im not sure if I really need a liner or will a nest work in the BCS2 grande? If I buy the BCS2 grande, can I condense it to just a BCS2 standard (only two guys)? Thanks for your help.

You can do a nest in a BCS but its cozy and better for family members. 6 man has the liner advantage and is great for two or three. A BCS grande can be used as a standard BCS with the vestibule. Personally for early season non stove use, I prefer the smaller tents like LBO BT2 . For base camps or stove use I prefer the larger tents.

Thanks kevin, I'm trying to get a significant larger foot print than our current 2 person tent. That's why I was thinking 6 man tipi or bcs grande. Especially if we have a third person and a stove.

Granted this might be a bit much, but to have a lot of flexibility with size and what not, you could go 8 man tipi, and then flex pitch down to a 6 man as well. Kind of gives you multiple options with a lot more room. Sure you're getting further away from the smaller shelters, but an option to think about?

The weight difference in a UL 6 and 8 is very minimal.
I would have to look through recent notes but it's a few ounces ... 10 ounces in recent notes

Kevin, if I buy a bcs2 grande do I need to purchase the vestibule for the standard bcs2 separately? If so how much? I'm asking in case I want the option of gouging lighter with just the Bcs2 when it's just two guys vs. 3.
Side note. I saw u guys moved to grand junction. I'm in Denver. Do u guys have a showroom of types for people to put their hands on or get inside the shelters? Thanks, George.

$179
We are mostly located in GJ. We have been doing the majority of production work there since early on. We moved to a larger dedicated shop. I would not call it a retail location, but some product is around and we can set stuff up in the park across the street. We are glad to have people come by, you just sort of need to schedule a time a couple days in advance.

Kevin sorry for all the questions but I'm new to these shelters and want to make the right decision.
One more.... Will 2 2 person nests fit inside of bcs2 grande (one each side)? Thanks
