LBO Base only pitching techniques?

Hey Guys,

I'm looking to get insight as to the most efficient way to pitch the LBO base only. I have a pretty good grasp of how to pitch it with vestibule based on the videos but not 100% sure with base only. Do you stake the 4 main corners and add the pole and then adjust the stakes to your desired level of tautness? Or do you stake the rear 2 and then add the pole and guy out the beak then do the two front tie outs? I've only briefly played with both techniques but will be heading out for a trip soon and wanted to practice the best way a couple times before heading out. I figure it is just a trial and error thing but if there is a unanimously best way to pitch it I would like to hear it.

Any insight is appreciated!

There are lots of ways to do it.

Here is what I do. I stake the rear as normal, then I add the pole to whatever height I desire and guy our the front with cordage , then stake the sides. It varies, depending on what I am trying to accomplish, but usually if I am base only, i use a standard height pole no extension.

Great thanks. I found the way you described to be the quickest pitch for me but thought I saw something different recommended in my research. I appreciate your help!
