Everyone,
Can a removeable mosquito netting be retro fitted to one door of my BCS-2? Would like to install it utilizing velcro for removal durring cold weather outings.
Can this be installed by myself without shipping the shelter back and forth? I purchased the BCS-2 with western elk & deer hunting in mind. Lately have done some car
camping with a traditonal archery group on WMA's up-state here in Louisiana. A single walled tent is going to condensate in this climate. I just think that with the mesh
covered door open durring the night it might be with in limits. I will be alone in the tent with a nest deployed. Kind of depends on the dew point and the wind. I will
thank all in advance, the staff and anyone else who takes the time to answer my questions.

That would be a question for Angie honestly. I would tend to think it could be done, but I'm not sure if you want it done. Screens will keep bugs down, but also reduce ventilation by 60 percent. A better solution might be raising the sides a couple inches and venting down the top portion of the zipper. That will at least let you know if it is effective enough combating condensation in your climate. If it is, then maybe it is something to pursue. Condensation can be real surprising. While we are dry here, it is sometimes really bad due to being a cold sink, where just up a hill a little bit it is fine. I've also had times I expected it to be bad (coastal BC) and it was fine. A lot depends on how saturated the ground is you are set up on. If you are on wet ground to begin with, a ground sheet can go a long ways toward getting rid of it.

For testing, you can raise the sides, by just using the inside portion of the tie out, and a bit longer stake. This should give you a couple inches of air space. Then open one door partially at the bottom and tie it back, and the other door zip down from the top. Add a ground sheet tarp if desired, and you should be able to gauge how good or bad it will be in your climate.
