Anyone have experience with this combo? I tried it just out in the yard, and it bent the crap out of the plastic tips that came stock on my z poles. I'm not that worried about the tips, but the extenders were not even close to parallel to the poles. Should I take the plastic off and try metal to metal? Just looking for a little advice. TIA!

The z pole is not a substantive enough pole. The black diamond carbon flick lock work well

We also have a limited amount of carbon poles in stock currently for the LBO. That is the lightest / strongest option. The lightest has no adjustment.

I am not sure, they look a lot like the trekking poles from rockwest composites.
It also depends on if you want the ability to pitch it well, or the ability to sustain 60 MPH winds. A lot of poles will work fine for fair conditions, but for heavy winds I prefer something at least 5/8 diameter from a good material (6061 / 7075 alum or Carbon)
