A couple more thoughts,
I can identify with Reaper's sentiments regarding the BT-2, in that for me I prefer the room, and pay the weight penalty. I even went to the 6-person to have true standing room at 6'3". It's about a 5.8 lb package with CF pole. I have tried to offset that by also going with a Unaweep 4800 pack, that is about 3 lbs empty. Also a lightweight 3 oz cooking stove (Olicamp Xcelerator Ti).
Still working on a Ti woodstove. then nice lightweight sleep pad and bag or quilt, then better clothes, boots, etc etc......It all costs, but hey, I don't gamble or go to the bars. Getting there little by little....grin
For the size/weight, personally I'd happily carry the 4-person over the BT-2, but if you are carrying your camp on your back everyday, and setting up wherever you stop, then the weight of the BT-2 would be kind of enticing. But then if you have to ride out some bad weather, the 4-man would be a lot more comfortable, and plenty of room to dry and stockpile firewood.
